Mira’s got her life together. She just bought the cute coffee shop where she’s been helping her regulars through herbs, sigils, and tea leaf readings for years, and she’s set to buy a house in the suburbs before her 30th birthday. The only thing missing is her girlfriend Ryan.

 

Ryan claims she’s not the “settling down type” and even after a year of dating, just won’t commit. Her argument is that people can’t change, but Mira plans to prove her wrong. By teaching the nerdy chemistry professor—who probably shouldn’t even be in her shop—to believe in magic. But once she starts spending time with Henry, Mira realizes that maybe it was never Ryan she needed, and maybe science and magic can mix like coffee and cream.
