ABOUT
Lindsay N Marshall is a born and raised Floridian currently living in New Jersey after making pit stops in Boston and San Francisco along the way. She started writing professionally in 2012, interviewing musicians for her college newspaper, the FSView & Florida Flambeau, and worked as an intern for her local paper the Tallahassee Democrat. Since then, she's been a staff writer for two online Millennial women’s magazines, Literally, Darling and the whisp, specializing in personal essays and pop culture respectively. However, her first love has always been fiction.
She now writes thrillers and speculative fiction about messy, angry women. She is currently querying a sorority thriller, Sisters Not by Blood, and revising a commercial speculative novel, Salt and Burn, about two sisters staging hauntings for their social media channels.
Her short story "Buried," which was originally published in Issue 16 of Stanchion, was nominated for a 2025 Pushcart Prize. Her short story "Black Widow" placed third in Onyx Publications' Spring 2024 Contest, and she has also been published in the online literary journals Idle Ink and Feminine Collective.
Lindsay received her MA in Publishing and Writing from Emerson College, and she is currently attending Arcadia University for her MFA in Fiction. For more information, you can check out her CV here. To stay up-to-date, subscribe to her newsletter.
