I was an intern in the newsroom of Tallahassee's local paper, the Tallahassee Democrat, where I reported for the local section, typically about news pertaining to Florida State and Florida A&M University under the Higher Education Editor. I wrote a dozen published stories and many local news briefs and crime reports, and engaged with social media by posting event information to websites.
